I started shooting when I was very young. I still have some of my earliest pics from 30 years ago!

At 16ish I got a Nikon FM2 and a 50mm 1.4 lens and started shooting anything and everything I could.

At 20ish I kind of let photography take a back seat. I know! I know! Dumb move LOL

In 2004 or so I got serious again and started looking into the digital world as well as picking up my old trusty FM2 again.

2006 May.... a Nikon D50 entered my world.

2007 Nov.... the D300 took my husbands place in our bed hahahaha

PS I've not taken 1 single class for this art.... I've had to figure it all out on my own. I'm looking forward to taking time for me and taking some workshops this year (2009). I would like to thank all of my friends who have helped me along the way and have not laughed in my face when I used to say "aperature...HUH?"

I've lived in L.A., the San Fransisco Bay Area, San Diego, Maui, and Oakdale. I spent a decade longer than I should have in Humboldt County... can we say BRRRRR?

I've been living on a lake in the Redding area now since '07 and I think this is where my heart is now! Time to set down roots and finish raising my wonderful family!
