I'm a New Orleans girl, born here, raised here, still here and not going anywhere because I live in the most wonderful city on earth. Period. I'm in deep love with my home. Deep, unconditional love.

In general, I'm irrepressibly creative, highly inquisitive, and I have a passion for teaching and learning. I think too much and I sleep too little. When in my own space, I write and record music and occasionally perform it, frequently engage in photography -sometimes for actual money, (as a profession, it runs in the family...), and I engage in an expansive array of other creative pursuits. I occasionally help other artists with certain aspects of the music business, but I've sworn off getting into the full-blown management side of it forever.

Despite my appearance of being more artsy than anything, I have a pretty strong left brain and managed to earn an MBA, with a 4.0 GPA. I currently teach marketing at the University of New Orleans and I teach my courses with a STRONG emphasis on ethics, as I believe that "marketing ethics" is a high and attainable ideal and not an oxymoron.

I'm a closet science junkie with some strong geek-like tendencies and had recently resumed doing contract work in clinical research before The Storm blew it away. But that's okay, because I'm much more passionate about teaching.

I'm also one of those hard-core, evangelical Mac users, so watch it!

I adore and value my two amazing children beyond ALL things and I believe that love and knowledge are the two most important things we can have and give to others. And we MUST give these things without forgetting that TRUTH is relative.
