Hello! My name is Lisa Hooker.

I am just a regular 22 year old woman who has dreams of becoming a professional pet photographer. I always had a camera in my hand growing up, not knowing the millons of photos I was taking would lead me to a dream I had no idea of. It wasn't until I saw the amazing photos from friends on a site called dogster.com that I realized I wanted to be able to take photos like that. So I bought my first DSLR in November 2009. I will admit it was not easy learning how to use it. I owe big thanks to my flickr friends for helping me see what I need to work on and I can finally say I am 100% pleased with my photography, everyone kept telling me to do this professionally but I (and my flickr friends) knew I wasn't ready at the time. I had a goal I wanted to reach, well more a level of "talent" I wanted to reach with my photos and I feel like I have reached it. So now I am starting my pet photography business. It's great because I have a pet sitting business that I own and it's kinda like adding to that. My clients are happy with the photos I have taken for them so far and I can't wait to see where this takes me in the future.

My children are VERY important to me, and here they are!

Sam -is my oldest son.

Rustin -my 8 year old Tibetan Spaniel

Watson -my 7 year old Australian Shepherd Golden Retriever mix.

Madison -My daughter! (4 year old bichon)

Gracen -my youngest.. he is a bichon but he doesnt look like one. He was rescued from a breeder.
