What I think about...

flickr: flickr is great, there is only one better, but that's twice as expensive :/

yahoo: nothing great there; since yahoo took over flickr several bad things happened - especially several old users were treated like dirt

So, if you want to come to flickr, think about it twice. Not because of flickr, but because of yahoo. Chances are that they turn down flickr even more and that yahoo simply doesn't care for the users as much as other, photos only pages would do.
