My camera is mostly aimed at capturing ironic and/or deeply fascinating moments from nature and the built world.
I try to take photos that work without cropping and I am not overly concerned with getting the lighting perfect. Part of the moment is how the camera is currently set up, and it's not always pretty, but it'll almost always be interesting.
A sub-set of my collections can be described as moments of beauty in chaos: a bare tree against a detailed background, a tangle of obsolete circuitry.
Sections of architecture also make fascinating input - the game is to zoom in and capture a geometrical song with no horizon.
