I started exploring photography around 11 years old with my family’s first digital camera back in 1999, a 3.2-megapixel Nikon Coolpix with a funny swivel body that was honestly the size of a brick. Around that same time, my dad got me my first version of Photoshop, and with that, he released something inside me that has never stopped.

At 18, I landed a job at Kits Camera in Kennewick, WA, part of the now-defunct Ritz Camera chain, and bought my very first DSLR. I haven’t looked at the world the same way since.

Born and raised in the Tri-Cities, Washington, I moved to my family’s 50-acre farm in Winlock in 2012, a true suburban girl gone country story. I’ve loved getting to know Western Washington’s misty forests and learning the rural way of life, from muddy boots and mossy trails to sunsets over the pasture.

By day, I’m a Hospice Liaison, helping connect patients and families in my community with compassionate end-of-life care and support. By heart, I’m a storyteller, whether that’s through my camera or in the way I show up for people when they need someone most.

I’m a proud mom to a 16-year-old, and most of my adventures are shared with my border collie, King, my favorite hiking buddy and reluctant model. When I’m not working or photographing, you’ll find me wandering my family’s land, camera in hand, finding peace in the small, beautiful details most people walk right past.

Let me just start of by saying that.....Lindsay....you are such an amazing photographer! I have always looked up to you and your work. The way that you capture a moment and they way that picture can just capture so many people in so many different ways in AMAZING! I have had the opportunity to have listened to Lindsay's knowledge in her own photography world and somethings just completely take you back. The way she is just so passionate about photography and people really wanted me to work even harder to be better than I was! Not only was she a mentor to me BUT a TRUE friend! There is not alot of people that I know that can be sooooo patient with me and to help me understand things that can truly sound complicated at times. Thank you so much LiIndsay for being who you are and for taking the time to take me on tour through your life in photography. I would have never found my path with out you!
