Lindsay Donovan Davies was born in Calgary, AB but due to her life long fascination with the mountains and ocean she is now based in Vancouver, BC. She has a love for snowboards, bikes, bacon, travel, adventure and interpreting light and capturing life’s moments as they happen. She holds a Diploma in Photography which she obtained from Focal Point – The Visual Arts Learning Centre in 2010. Lindsay continually strives to learn more about her trade and does so by reading, attending classes, workshops, interacting with leading professionals and spending time behind the lens. Lindsay’s tool of choice is the digital medium, which acts as the communication device between her psyche and the viewer. Her images have a harmonious blend of insightful perspective, skill-full lighting and edgy abstraction. These combined elements allow the viewer to transcend the everyday and enter the realm of heightened awareness.
