Originally from North West England, after living in West Cork Ireland for 17 years am now enjoying retirement in the Languedoc, France. Married for 41 years, one grown up daughter (married with a daughter too)! and two rescue dogs, Toby, a collie/terrier (now sadly passed away a year ago) and our latest recruit, a Yorkshire Terrier.

Taught to knit by my Irish Granny when I was 4, I joined Flickr to upload photos of my projects, and then saw all the wonderful shots others were taking of just about everything else!

I have a 35 year old Bernina sewing machine which I love and have no plans to trade in.
