Drag to set position!
Since retiring in 2009 I have been able to spend more time pursuing a new hobby. I have always been interested in wildlife and photography so I decided to combine the two and started with a bridge camera, then a DSLR and I have now moved completely mirrorless with a Canon R5 and recently a Canon R5II as well. If you follow me and comment on my images I will reciprocate whenever I can but I don't have time to comment on photostreams that do not reciprocate. I also play golf which takes up a lot of my time when I'm not out with my camera. Although I love to take pictures of wildlife in the wild, sometimes this is not possible, especially here in the UK. Travel to exotic wildlife destinations is becoming more and more expensive and although I have been lucky enough to have visited all seven continents, my trips abroad are becoming less frequent. Occasionally I may post images that have been taken of captive birds and wildlife but as my main priority is to take a sharp, well composed picture, I make no apologies for this. Most of the places I visit have breeding programmes or other contributions to make to conservation and preserving endangered species so I don't mind contributing by paying my entrance fee and getting to see some rare wildlife in the process.

What a beautiful portfolio! thank you very much for sharing your work!
Hello Linda. I have just viewed your album. Black Background, wow. what a wonderful collection of photos. The rest of your photo stream is also spectacular. Thank you for sharing.
It is great to find a photographer that can inspire other photographers with his or her work. Such is the case here. I have been very pleased with how my photography has grown in recent years, but Linda's work humbles me and reminds me that there is ever room to grow and improve.
Gorgeous wildlife photos!
This photographer has produced some exquisite pictures that any photographer would be proud of taking. I wonder if, perhaps, this artist would have made a good professional career in this field. I look forward to seeing more of her work as we need more photographers of her calibre.
Une magnifique galerie qui nous fait découvrir plein de merveilleux animaux, merci
