林葆靈 LIN Bao-Ling (b. 1981, Taipei)

Currently lives and works in Taipei.

He graduated from the LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore before earning a Master’s degree in Ink Painting from National Taiwan Normal University.

He is best known for his Nocturne and The Nameless Little Guy series. His work often bridges the gap between Western abstraction and Eastern ink aesthetics, distilling emotions such as loneliness, anxiety, and complex internal dialogues into paintings and3D works.

Chen Kuang-Yi, Director of the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, describes his work:
