"I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody." (Bill Cosby)

I took my first photos in 1977 with a small pocket camera. Not many, though, because I couldn't afford the films and developing from my pocket money, so I think it was 5 films in total.

I got hooked again in 1983 when we went to Berlin with school and I was allowed to use my dad's old Exakta Varex where you had to do everything manually, even the light metering (with an external meter).

In 1986 when I finished school I got a Minolta X-700 as graduation present and returned the good old Exacta. The Minolta was my camera of choice (among a small Konica and later a small Olympus mju zoom for spontaneous shots) until I bought a Leica Digilux zoom in December 1999 (my 2nd digi, I had a very basic digicam before) and almost totally switched to digital. I still have the Minolta, though, for special occasions.

Now I also have a Olympus C-765. I'm looking forward to better closeups!

She gives me and my furry little friends a cozy home, and she loves not only teddybears, but all sorts of cute animals, flowers, and nature in general. I thought this space should not remain white, so I decided to add a little yellow testimonial. She's serious most of the time, but sometimes also a little bananas. ;o)
