Although I've never had formal art training, creating art has always been an important part of my life.

For a while I did commissioned oil portraits of horses, then I tried floral design, tole painting, etc. until I started making jewelry. A fascination with beads soon turned into an addiction and I'm hooked for life! As my skills have grown so has my creativity, with my latest passion being the creation of jewelry pieces using found objects. Someday soon I also hope to take up the paintbrush again.

Inspiration comes from many sources, but sometimes it's something as simple as the chippy paint on an old hinge or a rusty piece of metal!
