I am a public school administrator who aspires to learn more about the art of photography through trial and error and error and error. Upon purchasing my first digital SLR camera, I explained to my daughter that I was looking forward to all the terrible pictures that I would take because that meant that I'd be learning what not to do. However, I've found that the plethora of options on SLRs gives me a multitude of ways to ruin a shot.
