I have been asked in the past to give people copies of one or more of my images. I am humbled that someone thinks that much of my work. For some purposes, such as educational and non-profit organizations, I may donate an image. If you are a for-profit group and you wish to use my images, I expect to receive some sort of compensation; especially if you are going to profit from the use of my images. Compensation does not have to be monetary, although US Treasury Gift Certificates are appreciated! Remember that Flickr is not an open use, royalty free database of photography.

I've loved photography for years, but never had the opportunity or time to do more than dabble. I moved to the digital photography world in 2001 with a Sony point and shoot. I started taking more photos, but something was missing. In the spring of 2006, I decided to treat myself to a new camera, and got an 8MP Olympus E-500. This is my first SLR, so I have a lot still to learn. I hope you enjoy looking at my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them and as much as I enjoy looking at your photos.

I don't do much editing on my photos. Most of what I do is to crop, rotate and maybe a little color or contrast correction.
