Lilian Maus is an artist and professor at the Institute of Arts / UFRGS. He lives between the cities of Porto Alegre and Osório / RS. Since he was a child, born in Salvador / Bahia, he made trips between the northeast and the south of the country. It is through the relationship with the landscape that his art is cultivated, exploring the porous skin of language, its ditches, mists, plots, textures, hues and ruins. It moves between painting, drawing, photography, installation and video, from a journey through the fields of philosophy, biology, history and literature. He was in charge of the independent artistic space Atelier Subterrânea (Porto Alegre, 2006-2015) and is currently dedicated to the artistic curatorship of Azzurra, in Porto Alegre.
