There is something very special about getting out into beautiful natural places. Photography gives me the chance to take some of what I saw, felt, and experienced and bottle it up for others to enjoy .

As I have learned to take pictures I have learned to search for great light. My friends think I am crazy to get up so early for a sunrise, or to hike back in the dark after a sunset, or to head for the mountains looking for storms. But it is at these times and in these conditions that photography is so rewarding.
