The first lighthouse I remember photographing was in the Dry Tortugas in 1983, after my Dad gave me my first 35mm camera. Much later I began "collecting" lighthouse photos.

I collect only photos I take myself. Each shot reminds me of a trip. It's not the photo itself; it's the journey.
