I am a longtime lover of nature and landscape photography. Due to my busy lifestyle, photography is something I do mostly while on vacation. For years I shot slides almost exclusively (Kodachrome 64 until Fuji Velvia 50 came along), but switched to digital in October 2004.

I try to share as much information about my photos as possible (exposure, EXIF, location) so that people can learn or be inspired to visit a location, as I have been by other images shared on Flickr and the web. I admire the talent and enthusiasm of so many of the photographers here on Flickr - it is truly inspirational!

My day job is making people smile. It has nothing to do with photography.

However, if I see that you are "following" 10,000... 20,0000... one person was over 100,000 people(!!!) and have fav'd only a few hundred pics - please don't bother to include me - your motivations at Interestingness domination are clear - I will not follow you back.
