This is a collection of pictures mostly of working steam engines: I photograph landscape and wildlife too.

'Light Steam' is a term applied to an engine fired up but not actually working, hmmm! . Photographically I hope it's self explanatory.

A photographic style is a very personal thing, the pictures of the steam engines working I hope capture the elements of light, action and location. Those posted that don't are record shots from days when the inspiration just didn't gel, master shots don't happen every day.
