I've been in photography for years, since the days of the Pentax K-1000, but dropped off at the start of the digital age. Kids took over and it was all about them for a decade and a half.

Now, the kids are older, and I'm anxious to rekindle the love for photography in the digital age. Digital is certainly different, but more powerful in its ability to instantly satisfy, and turn anyone with a computer into a darkroom specialist. I'm still on the curve in utilizing digital to its fullest extent and with the new lighting available (wireless strobes, etc). Flickr has provided an opportunity to share in my journey, and to enjoy what others have created and be inspired.

I work by day (and sometimes night) at a BIG airline manufacturing company in the States in computer systems specifically for engineering documents and staff. By night, and occassionally by day, I am a man with a camera. Working to expand my abilities, feed my joy, and hopefully make a few extra bucks along the way. Who doesn't want that? :)
