I'm an over-the-road professional truck driver. I have a four year degree in Aviation Flight Science and hold a commercial pilot license with multiengine and instrument endorsements... however, the desire to pay off student loans rather than climb the aviation employment ladder took me on a different path. That path was the trucking industry.

I am truly blessed. My dad owns the truck. I drive it. We make a good business team. I'm blessed to drive a new, well equipped truck. We're blessed to be leased to a honest company with fair compensation. I'm blessed to haul the raw materials that touch everyone's everyday lives, and to be part of what keeps America running. It's a tough lifestyle, and sometime in the future "over-the-road" will have to become "local" or "regional" or "dedicated," but for now, it's what I do and it's a honor to be able to see so much of our great country.

My love of photography began when I was young, and was solidified with a high school photojournalism class and a Canon T60 (film) camera. I currently use a Nikon D7000 with a Nikkor 18-200mm lens, and a Tokina 11-16mm.

I like to tell a story through pictures.... either a story of a certain trip, the story of what I do everyday in the truck, or the story of a certain season, etc... I like to try new things and be as creative and artistic as I can. But I also like to take pictures that help explain the everyday job of a trucker... usually mundane to me, but hopefully interesting and insightful for the viewer.
