I am an amateur photographer; I use a Canon Rebel t3i and I am hoping to someday reach a status where my images will be recognized as professional. I don't really care about selling them at this point, but I do want the quality of my work to be recognized.

I bought my first DSLR (the Canon Rebel) in May 2012, and I have been pretty heavy into photography every month since then. I travel quite a lot with my camera, and I have been to Annapolis, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Alexandria many times, as well as to Antietam, Gettysburg, New York, and various other places. I will always take my camera with me on my hikes; part of what I enjoy about hiking is getting to share my stories with my friends, and what better way to capture and share those than through the lens?

Right now my work is a mix between experimental, shooting for friends (e.g. portraits), and shooting sports games.
