LIBRRIAN's Most Interesting Photos on Flickriver
NEWS FLASH!
I have had a great many people on my "following" list and have not heard a word from many of those people in years. I have decided to pare down the number of people I follow, partly because I just don't have the time to comment on so many photos. I have visited many people who never returned the courtesy, and, as of now, I will be doing much less of this. So, from now on, if you leave a comment on my photos, be assured that I will visit you and leave comments on yours. Thank you to those who actually follow me.
I am a retired Librarian and I am really enjoying the extra time and more leisurely lifestyle. I have four grandsons, all living nearby and I love taking pictures of my family and friends, nature, macros and anything else that strikes my fancy.
Since it has been many years since I have taken photos, I am starting again as a newbie, with a digital Olympus SP-510UZ and I am having the time of my life. I have much to learn and many questions, so I hope to learn a lot from others in Flickr. And you just never know what life will hand you. I'll keep you posted. Stay tuned, Folks!
March 2014: I have now acquired a Sony NEX-6, a macro lens (E3.5/30 macro) and a 55-210 zoom lens. It is a small, lightweight DSLR and I love using it.

One of my best friends on flick, Pam is one of the most Generous people I know when it comes down to commenting on photo's! What I like the most is the fact that she takes photgraphy very seriously indeed & does a mighty fine job at it! I Love taking the time to browse through her photostream & not only admiring her pics but learning something new about in & around her Hometown & everyday going ons etc. Anyway, Keep up the good work & keep them uploads coming! Sure would'nt be the same without you on board! Best Wishes & Thanks! Alan.
