Photographer, writer, filmmaker.

I work as a library assistant in the Science & Industry department of the San Diego Central Library. Previously, I spent seven years working in the History department. Currently I procure government documents and reports for the library's collection as well as provide reference information for library patrons.

Previously I worked as a crime reporter, syndicated music columnist and collectable record dealer.

I have freelanced articles and photos for the San Diego Union Tribune, the San Diego Reader, Downtown News, Beach & Bay Press and other newspapers. My work has also been featured in Car Kulture DeLuxe, Genetic Disorder, Razorcake, Punk Planet and numerous other zines, indie publications and websites. A Google search on "Eric Rife" will bring up dozens of links to my work.
