Liberas legt zich toe op het verzamelen en beheren van erfgoed van alle personen, groeperingen en organisaties in België en Vlaanderen die zich laten inspireren door het liberale gedachtegoed en het vrije denken en handelen.

Liberas is based in Ghent, Belgium. Since 1982 it collects, preserves and manages the heritage of individuals and organisations in Belgium, inspired by liberal ideology and free thinking and acting. Liberas is an independent scientific institution, offering free access for research.
