Libby above all is a great friend, but having worked with her on photoshoots, I must say that she is a very very talented photographer. You seriously don't find many people in this world like her, and I mean that in a GOOD way! :P

Libby is the most Unforgettable person I've met in a Long time. As I've seen her rapidly become an evolving force in the Raleigh community (flickr and non-flickr, alike), I've seen that I'm only one of a growing number who consider it Fortune to have her here. She has an amazingly rare effect, in this world of gamesmanship, I think... people immediately feel she's granting them their full beingness, right from the start, on a level that makes each feel specifically respected and appreciated. That's also how she photographs her world, I think... She doesn't "capture" so much as she beholds, embraces, and shares... both, the subject, and her keen perceptive smile -or wink- about it, whether it is something encountered outside herself, or is something OF herself. To use a quote from a Van Morrison song, Libby's art is "Warm Love".

I discovered Libby Telford's photos thanks to a comment she left to one of mine. Since then, I haven't stopped to admire each of her superb takes, particularly for the personal and unique way she has got with lights and colours. How grateful I am to that comment!

You can tell a lot about a person by how they photograph what is around them. I have seen Libby bravely leave her home behind and run off with her Canon and iBook in tow to capture what she saw along the way. Libby's photographs are warm with purpose and strength. She has a signature DOF with a great eye for beauty and rich colors. I always enjoy shooting with Libby because she has that same passion and excitement as I do from behind the lens.

Libby is not only an amazing person, but an excellent artist. When I first met Libby she was slaving away doing website work for the same company I was employed with. As time went on I discovered that Libby has an innate sense of beauty, which is evidenced by her gorgeous photography. Libby's work inspires me to improve my photographic abilities, as well as to think outside the box. For me, her photos capture life and all the beauty that is in it. I am always amazed by what Libby sees through her lens, and the journey's she takes through life and her camera.
