I graduated from Umass Amherst w/ a BA in Photography & Fine Arts. I love all things art & enjoy painting, sewing, collage, sculpture, multi media work and pretty much anything artsy craftsy. I've worked for years as an elementary art teacher at day camps and schools. I love working with kids and making awesome kid-crafts.

At Umass, I traveled to Botswana, Zimbabwe & Tanzania on some wildlife ecology / conservation field study trips and fell in love with Elephants & African cultures. My Senior thesis exhibit was on the western visual representation of Africa in popular media, specifically, National Geographic and the tourism industry.

In 2010 I received a Fulbright Fellowship Award to film & photograph in Tanzania.
