I am a mother of three boys, my baby is still in high school, my other boys are serving their country in the US Navy & US Marine Corps. I am married to a retired Marine who puts up with my love (obsession) with history hence being drug all over the state in search of historic buildings, ghost towns, or just a drive or ride to see what we can find.
I love to take photos of any building that has any sense of history or a past. Old homes, ranches and homesteads are my favorite. I adore ghost towns, and the old west history that goes along with them. If I was in the South I would be all over plantations, in the East I would be all over mansions and battlefields. Once our youngest son is on his own we will be venturing to the East Coast and everything in between! Perhaps I can get some photography classes in before that time comes.
As a profession I am a horse trainer and riding instructor. I am very blessed to be able to do a job that is also a passion. I have been riding since I was 4, showing since I was 5, saddle breaking since I was 13, owned my own business at 18. I have never looked back. I have trained numerous champions in numerous breeds, instructed numerous riders to Equitation championships in many divisions, disciplines & breeds.
All of the photos I take are not available for use by anyone without written permission. Please don't steal my photos. If you have anything negative to say about my photos please keep it to yourself, I do not trash anyone else's work so please don't trash mine. I admit that I do not have a trained eye. I just take photos of things I love, hopefully to preserve its place in history.
Have fun & happy shooting!
