In my early teens, I came under the influence of Asian visual culture and philosophy for a lifetime. In the same decade, I became obsessed with geometric patterns, optical illusions, tribal motives, religious symbols, psychedelic landscapes, abstract visions, automatic drawings, sacred monograms, asemic writings too.

I learned porcelain painting then studied Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy. Meanwhile I have been designing logos, flyers, covers for underground bands and organisers (since 1991) and edited underground fanzines (1991-2002) and a Buddhist art blog (2007-) and of course I also worked as a porcelain painter and graphic designer too.

In the 2000’s, I began to practice Siddhaṃ and Tibetan calligraphy as an important part of my Buddhist practice. It was a matter of course: as a Buddhist practitioner, beyond the teachings of Tathāgata, I am most influenced by two great masters, Kūkai (774-835) and Chögyam Trungpa (1939-1987). Now I am one of the few western practitioners of Tibetan calligraphy. In 2011, I had my first solo exhibition of Buddhist calligraphy. This was later followed by further shows. Nowadays, after many years of Buddhist study, I focus on Tibetan (or Buddhist) influenced design and illustrations.
