Elementary school art teacher for 33 years in New York.... now retired and living in Florida. Enjoying travel, golf and our two Labrador retrievers. I have always been interested in photography and the last few years have been doing a lot of point and shoot digital photography...and am now ready to explore the world of SLR digital photography. I have just ordered an Olympus Evolt E-510 SLR camera and have joined the Palm City Photo Club here on Flickr.... I've got a lot to learn.

I have now had my new camera for a year and am truly addicted. I look at my surroundings in a very different way....I have learned about birds, flowers, butterflies and insects and even astrophotography...I take my camera everywhere. Photography has added a new dimension to my life.

It had to happen....just upgraded to an Olympus E-5 with some swd lenses...life is good!
