I am Les' Auntie D, sister of his mother and his biggest nuisance at the moment. I baby sat the little dear when he was way beyond cute and have followed his meanderings through the years. My husband and I now live next to where he grew up so we get visits now and then. We teamed up recently to publish my books online as ebooks. Rather, he gave me the idea and now has to be very patient with a totally right-brained poet/author/artist. His only lapse into impatience is when he writes a post that includes VERY BIG RED FONT. I spent a lot of time with cousin Leslie when I was little. Although he calls me "cute little Darling"...I'm sure he didn't always think that when he realized that I had been playing with 'HIS' toys. I'm still fascinated with magnets to this day! I can see by the photos he has posted that he is still into bugs. The first wolf spider I ever saw was in a jar at his house...also the first free roaming wolf spider I ever saw crawled out from under the sofa I was sitting on...right under my feet...at his house...scared the beegeebers out of me! Playing Old Maid with Aunt Jackie, walking through the green house and seeing my first Venus Fly Trap, drinking coke, having home made bread and my first taste of hot tea, which I still love...a few of the memories I have..... Now that we live in close proximity of one another again, I'm enjoying reconnecting, reminiscing and getting to know one another again. The more we talk, the more images and details are coming back to me. You're only about a 5 minute drive from my house now...no excuses for us not to visit : )
