I've been interested in taking pictures since I was a kid with my sister's hand-me-down Brownie camera. Since then, I've used mostly point-and-shoots, now digital, of course. My original SLR camera was a Canon AE1-Program, a film camera now sitting in my closet. (but I can't bare to get rid of it!). Now I have a Nikon D5600 DSLR, but I need to learn how to use it!

I'm in the process of working on visiting all 100 counties in North Carolina, and am photographing and blogging about it on North Carolina Odyssey Project at: ncodysseyproject.blogspot.com/

I'm also on waymarking.com, and have found some interesting things to photograph thanks to that sight. I also love cemeteries, and the history and stories they tell.

I work for an academic library by day. I've become increasingly interested in digital librarianship, partly thanks to Flickr.
