Mr. Mayers is an emerging futurist in the contemporary art scene of Southern California. His work is on the leading edge of a new movement self-labeled by the artist as ‘digital impressionism’. His art incorporates numerous state-of-the-art advances of modern technology, not only in the manner he uses to create his art, but also to expand the way his art is viewed and experienced. His concepts and work are at the forefront of the continually evolving art world, and quite different from the art that our parents and previous generations experienced and collected. His work typically begins as either a concept sketch or digital photographic image, and evolves through his innovative unique methods of combining traditional art techniques with advances in modern technology that were not available to previous generations of artists.

The production of his finished art also varies significantly from older, more traditional means, and is not limited in size, shape or material. While his work is available as more traditional giclee prints, utilizing archival quality inks on various museum grade substrates including canvas, fine art and photo-based paper, it can also be obtained on other types of materials that include milled metal, glass, ceramic tile, wood, paper, plastic or even on various types of fabric materials. Other new and exciting methods of display include backlit Lucite panels, digital panel display boards and even full-sized digital outdoor billboards.

For the more advanced collector, finished art is also available in signed limited editions that include certificates of authenticity. These limited collector pieces are available as traditional and hand embellished serigraphs, traditional oil painting on canvas, or other advanced techniques. These works are available in frames that have been personally selected by the artist, or unframed.
