My Favorite Photos ... desparately needs updating, as I've not been adding to it in a while...!

***Update*** - My Photostream has just passed the 45,000 views mark, with nearly 200,000 phot views!!!. I realise this isn't _that_ much of an achievement with nearly 35,000 photo's online, but I'm quite chuffed about it.

I've finally got all my photo's online now (around 35,000 and growing!). The next, harder task (!), is to tag them all up and put them in the relevant sets. It is a tediously slow job, and I have taken to doing a few a day - usually the random photoset that has new photo's in it every day. It's quite fun seeing which photo's are in there.

Please be aware that, in the vast majority of cases, I have not edited the photo's - i.e. their horizons aren't level, they aren't cropped correctly, the colour balance is not adjusted, nor is the exposure, contrast, sharpness or any of the million things you edit in photoshop. plus, there are probably alot of photo's that are badly out of focus. I'm adding them on here too, just for completeness. If there are any in particular that you'd like to see edited, just let me know - drop me a flikrmail, or add a comment to the photo. I'll have a go at photoshopping it, and post it up for you :)

I'm a bit overwhelmed by the filing choice for all the photo's, so what I'm doing is replicating my filing system on my pc - that is, I'm adding sets of photo's as sets that relate to folders on the computer. These are all organised by date, and are broadly one set of photo's per date. All of these are going into the "date" collection.

Each of these sets I'm also allocating into other sets as appropriate, depending on their main content.

In addition, I'm making some sets that link photo's together. These are things like Waterfalls, mushrooms, Lighthouses, Stone Circles, etc. etc. This should help me locate photo's in the future, and see where I have lots of photos / less photo's. It will be intereting :) (Oh, I realise I can do this using tags as well, but I have the facility to do it this way, so why not!!). All the subjective sets I have in a Collection,

Anyway, cheers for now. If you have any comments on how you've done it, or if you like how I've organised it all, please feel free to drop me a line and tell me your comments.
