Hello my dear Visitor!

Let me first introduce my self quickly. My name is Leonardo Chankalidi, but everyone calls me Leo. I was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in September 1989. I was born and raised in super mixed international family. Traveling between my homelands, from Almaty to Istanbul, from Istanbul to Athens and back. All my cultures, which include Greek, Turkish, Jewish, Russian and Kazakh, affected me since I was a little kid. Cultural values, history, music and traditions from all these nationalities, showed me how amazing and rich culture can be, no matter what culture we are talking about.

Starting from early days of film photography, slowly brought me to today's digital era. I remember myself loving and admiring photography from early ages. I was always fascinated by Art of Captured Moments. No matter what kind of photo I am trying to capture, people, animals, landscapes, urban or even selfies, I always enjoy the process. I believe in power of "Photography Memory". The idea of opening my album and watching photos from past, makes me incredibly happy. I am photographer not for business or because it is popular nowadays, but because I do it for myself. I enjoy the process and I created this web site to share my works with my family, friends and maybe people who like my work.
