I fell in love with the art of photography after taking a beginner's photography class in high school. I became more captivated by the craft when, as a college student, I bought my first camera during a semester as an exchange student in England. My early work consisted primarily of people and other journalistic shots for small newspapers.

Later, I turned my attention to street photography and landscapes, with a special interest in eclectic scenes from the rural South. I gravitate toward anything old or abandoned, ordinary people at work or play, and anything that conveys a mood or atmosphere.

Testimonials

I really enjoy Leo's photostream. He manages to capture the area around him, the history, the emotions, the stories so beautifully.

First, take a look at Leo's photostream. There's so many wonderful, emotional shots. He's always a word of encouragement, a breath of fresh air, and someone who says "This works, try this again". Just wanted you to know how much your thoughtful comments mean to me! Thank you.
