I am just a simple guy who fell in love with photography when I was 9 years old.

 

That was when my dad passed me his old Yashica camera and allow me to play with it... Oh, it was LOVE at first snap! :-)

 

Over the years, photography had been my constant companion and through photography, I was invited to "cool" parties back then... (was not a cool dude then nor now!).

 

From the sales of photos, etc. able to upgrade my systems.

 

Photography help pay for my college fees too, when going get tough!

 

Then tragedy struck...

 

About 20 years ago, on my maiden trip to the US, to visit a friend who was studying there...

 

I lost ALL my equipment in a freak accident...

 

My equipment by then, comprises of 2 bodies as well as 1/2 dozens of lenses, filters and flash, tripod, etc...

 

They are now resting in peace in the depths of about 150 feet under Lake Erie!

 

Since that incidence, other event such as career, family, etc. in their own way distract me from building up my equipment... not until about 7 years ago...

 

About 7~9 years ago, digital photography make it's presence felt and I went head long with it, buying my first Digital compact camera, A Ricoh 1.1MP.

 

Presently I own and use Konica-Minolta Dynax 5D(dSLR) and Olympus C3030Z (P&S)!

 

Over the last 15 years, I had spent many years travelling the globe, as part and parcel of my profession.

 

Since 2004, had decided to take it easy and set up permanent camp in Penang, Malaysia, where home is now.

 

Still travel but not so extensive. One day (when strike lottery), I would like to go globe trotting and just take pictures...

Though I've step onto many countries, unfortunately, it's for business most of the time and as such, really did not get to see much or soak in the culture of the countries...
