Things as I see them....

I am amazed at the number of really good photo's in flickr, I am always inspired when viewing the works of others. Now all I need to do is work to improve on my own work.

I'm becoming a flickr addict, I'm in every day, have my contacts and cant wait for their postings. I get frustrated with my own work, but my contacts are a continuous inspiration to me.

I like to keep it light and find the humor in the things I photograph.

You also may have noticed that I have no style, no continuity in what I shoot. I shoot anything and everything, and am not sure what I like best.

This is a quote from Light Stalking Photography Blog and Community that sums things up nicely "Photographers are a different breed. We carry a lot of gear one day and go with one lens the next. We chase light, wait patiently for wildlife, freeze while waiting for the stars and work to bring out the ‘personality’ in people photography. We love talking about f/stops, ISO, shutter speeds, lenses and photography experiences. There’s a lot going in a photographers creative mind. The non-photographer world will just need to be patient with us!"

I started photography a long time ago with film, I shot slides, and moved on to weddings with a 2 1/4 2 1/4. when film died it took me a while to get back into photography I had a small point and shoot for a few years and moved on to an Olympus 4/3rds camera and used it for several years till it broke. Now I shoot a full frame Nikon, and love it. Im glad I took the slow route to the good camera because I learned so much along the way.

I do some product photography at my work as flexographer.

I shoot everything in RAW format and import with Lightroom. I do 99% of my processing with Lightroom also. I have Photoshop too, but I use it very seldom. (Lightroom Photoshop combo for $10 per month).
