I am a passionate imaging guy. Photos, video, painting - I love to compose and creates.I spent 41 years in the pro video, audiovisual and imaging equipment sales business with manufacturers. Have loved the knowledge (sometimes know too much) it has brought me. I was with the team at JVC who launched the VHS format of video recording in the 70s after getting a BA in broadcast communications from San Francisco State.

The Nikon D7100 is my fourth and current SLR in 45 years of shooting. I did a lot of darkroom work in the 70s thru the 90s and have always appreciated the Ansel Adams, and Edward Weston schools of photography - especially the zone system of accurate exposure. When asked by folks, "what kind of camera have you got" I joke that that's like asking a great chef what kind of stove he has.

Last year went up to Antelope Canyon, AZ and Monument Valley, Utah with other photo buffs. Year before traveled to Barcelona and Amsterdam where I we shot 1000 pictures and PhotoShopped them down to 100 of the best. Find it here under Albums. I have done doors and windows since before it was considered 'cool' to shoot doors and windows. I have many of these series framed in 3-5 pictures up entitled "Doors of ...." in the native language of the country. I hope to have a showing of them somewhere locally here in Prescott, AZ.

I also enjoy strobe/flash photography. I have shot hundreds of business and clergy folks for headshots. I believe anyone in a professional position needs a real head shot, not a snapshot of themselves for publicity.

Keep on shooting!
