Len has a great sense of history and place. His desire to share his wealth of photographs and love of the Monterey Peninsula along with literary foot notes always inspires. I look forward to each new photograph that Len posts so that I can recall my many years (compressed time) spent in the Monterey area. I enjoy seeing the images taken by Len's eye and knowing exactly where he was when he took the image since I'm fortunate enough to know the Peninsula so well. More importantly, although Len and myself have never met, a friendship has been bridged through our love of Monterey, photography and the luck of living in the age of the internet.
