The first time I came in contact with ioannis' work was after a tip by Josh (better known as JT) and the kind of approach in photographing people he found back in my work....:-) Might it be the respectful attitude and positive approach to people - I felt so complimented by after Jt's words- or the almost childish and very simple vision on creating a wonderful little world of his own, but each time a new image of Ioannis pops up is like a touch of blinding light appearing on the screen. A light of pure simplicity and love to the subject, skilled with a fantastic gift of playing with colours, shapes and atmospheres....a little dream to discover and cherish, time after time With my deepest respect and admiration, Frieda

A whole new discovery for me. He makes me jealous (with his Korean wife). lol. The thing is, Mr. Lelakis has a soul. I envy this great man. You see....you cant be a special photographer unless you have a VERY special mind. It didnt take me too long to realize what gift he has....gifted with one of the biggest hearts.

I like the work of Ioannis. His eye (and camera) captures the unique, the exotic, the unusual, and the usual from a different perspective ! Thank you, Ioannis, for inviting me into your world through your wonderful images!
