My pleasure for crafts and sewing come from childhood. We had a neighbor, Mrs Yayá, an elegant lady who had their clothes using those models from the stores as a model for herself. My mother used to visit her and I looked at that all that world of clothing, lines and buttons. One day, Mrs. Yayá gave me a box with buttons and beautiful colors to play. I was delighted! When I was 18 years I took a course of Cutting and Sewing and I myself sewed a chess shirt with white collar and cuffs for my boyfriend (now husband). What a work! The time passed, I went to work in another branch, but I kept on loving handcrafts. I think creativity is also an exercise. After much trying, things just flow and art happens... Making mistakes, being patient to repair and to obtain a nice result is a sensational pleasure. I found in the lines, needles, felt, and mainly in cloth, a perfect therapy!
