Her humility in her self portraits can make you think of a possible younger version of yourself, with more freedom and courage, and then in the next one she is as melancholy as a grieving graveyard angel, or pulsing with life like a hive full of queen bees. She can take you through keyholes next to magic doors full of Spanish dust backlit by Madrileno light. La realidad es una jarra de agua fría en la espalda. Lo mismo le pasa a lo cotidiano, al día a día... , sabes perfectamente cual puede ser el máximo de sus efectos, cuanto te puede ofrecer. Leirdasim no, con cada foto, ilusración digital, dibujo, guiño u ocurrencia te sorprende del todo. Cada vez que ves alguna de su obras piensas que no puede haber otra mejor, y te equivocas, porque siempre trae algo maravilloso debajo del brazo... Pura evasión. deliciosa evasión diría... brillantes fotos, maravillosas ilustraciones, preciosos dibujos. Todo eso y mucho más, una artista completa y verdadera, que me está dejando de piedra. Y un orgullo para mí poder hacer este "testimonial". Soy un fan, ;-).
