Herein are images from Haifa, Tel Aviv, Kampala, Mbale, Delhi, Lucknow, London, Bristol, Boston, Cambridge, Medford, Central Vermont, NYC, San Francisco, Mountain View, Palo Alto ... and some other places.

I produced and directed a documentary film called "Opening a Space: The Discourse on Science, Religion and Development in Uganda". I like making things out of film, clay (check out my raku sets herein, as well as my pottery gallery), paint, and of course photos. I also love new media that increase social collaboration and encourage the fulfillment of potential.

Note: if you would like to use ANY of my images outside of flickr, please contact me here or via flickrmail, and please let me know. They are not for commercial use. If you're blogging images, please let me know - I can link to your blog, as well.

I will delete and block unwarranted, politicized comments on my stream. This is not the place for that.

My collection of others' work is really beautiful.

My website lives at www.leili.org: paintings, and some other stuff.

My blog, Beyond the Picture, is up again. Talking about photography, art, and observation.

Testimonials

When I want to expand my horizons in photography, the work of Leili is always an inspiration. She sees. She photographs. She Flickrs. (apologies to Caesar). I wish I had her eye for beauty. The world is better for her vision, pour sa gentillesse.

I am always stunned by the quality and variety of images that Leili posts. Rather than settle on a style and just keep churning them out it is refreshing and challenging to see such a wide range of photographs.
