If we were able to see and feel the kindness and tenderness of animals as she does and represents, no animal shelter would be needed, since everybody´s home would be one. Leesia has two wonderful gifts: (1) she is a terrific photographer, and (2) she has a loving, compassionate heart that shines through her work. She does the best job I've ever seen at capturing the love in the eyes of the dogs she photographs. I believe that must be love answering love. She devotes hours to helping Atlanta Pet Rescue find homes for the many animals left to the not-so-tender mercies of the world. Her generosity in sharing her gift to help these creatures who cannot help themselves speaks volumes. A "trip" through Leesia's photostream rewards the viewer with wonderful, technically excellent images that are by turns yearning, loving, funny, and just plain delightful. I'm always eager to see what she will post next!

I can never express in words what Leesia's photographs (which she volunteers) have done for the wonderful pets waiting for adoption at Atlanta Pet Rescue. She has the ability to capture the individual beauty of each one. Many of them have been overlooked during adoption but we can always count on Leesia's stunning images to bring attention to those waiting for forever homes. Within a few weeks of Leesia's images be placed on the Atlanta Pet Rescue site, these furry babies have been adopted. Tica, Mae, Angel, Libby are only a few of the wonderful babies who are now loved and adored by their new families after Leesia uncovered their beauty in her stunning images. I can think of no other photographer that I would rather have take photographs of my three rescued babies than her. Leesia is just a very special lady!
