I started shooting black and white film as a teen, when I'd produce images with a beat-up, 35mm and an enlarger set up in the mud room. Dust was my nemesis. Today my kit includes a DSLR and a Mac, and I am mostly at peace with my dust.

I love Lee's photos. The phrase that comes to mind is "sweet delight." Each subject is thoughtfully presented from exposure to final photo. Viewing a few minutes of her stream as a slideshow will cheer you up, make you think and cure what ails you. (Or, if you don't require such, you can just enjoy the show!)

When I look through Lee's photostream, I get the feeling that she never forgets her camera at home or is ever too preoccupied to pass up that shot that she'll later regret not getting. Her eye and her camera can discover and capture the *right* composition whether it's a portrait, a wintry pond or fruit on the cutting board. Her images *show* her dedication and love of photography and suffused through it all, like tea in hot water, is serenity, beauty, wit and - how does she pull it off? - intelligence.
