I never really intended to start taking pictures. But now, somehow, I take thousands.

I fell into photography through a childhood spent racing bikes. I always wanted a photo of that 'sweet jump' or 'massive wheelie'. My mates started taking photos of me and vice versa.

Starting to want some better snaps I bought a DSLR (Nikon D5000); last year I bought a 70-300mm telephoto lens; in 2013 year I bought a season pass for Oulton Park. And that's when things started taking off!

For 2014 I treated myself to a Nikon D7100.

It's all pretty modest equipment but it does the job. Like most people, I'd love to upgrade to some top-notch gear ( I realise I have to improve too!) and maybe even find my way into doing some professional work.
