I am an amateur photographer in York, England with a love of all things bright and shiny.

I've recently updated my camera collection, sidelining my Nikon D90 in favour of a D700, and I also own a Lumix LX5. Check out my "what's in your camera bag" pictures for more details. Owning lots of gear doesn't make a good photographer, but everyone loves a shiny new toy!

I am well aware that I will never get rich from my photography but I enjoy it as a hobby and if anyone else likes it then that's a bonus! I welcome any constructive comments and look forward to making some new friends along the way. I enjoy a photographic challenge and will have a go at most things.
