One thing that can't be said of John is that he's one shutter short of a camera. Over the last three years it's been an absolute joy to keep clicking on his Flickr stream and view his latest uploads. His dark, moody and grainy landscapes have a unique style that draw you in and take your mind and imagination to places few other photographers can take you to. I've had the privilege on occasions to meet up with John and spend a day photographing with him. OK, it means having to put up with that strange northern accent and his appauling map reading skills but we can't all be perfect.
