Prior to picking up my camera and pointing it out of my kitchen window, the thought of photographing birds and other wildlife never crossed my mind as something I thought I would ever be interested in.

Obviously, once I captured that first shot, I was hooked. It's nothing less than an addiction now and a much-needed hobby to fill my spare time, as I was hobbyless for many years prior to this new avocation. It's certainly not the cheapest hobby in the world but, my gosh, the return on investment is literally priceless.
